Ordered a pair of shoes from sportshoes unlimited just after xmas. I waited almost 2 weeks and nothing arrived so I emailed to cancel the order as I'd seen them in a shop for the same price and thought that would be the end of it. Just got home from work to find a package containing said shoes, some 11 weeks after i originally ordered them and over 2 months after I cancelled the order. Goons

Order delivered by Hermes - probably the worst delivery cie in the universe- goods said to be delivered but of course no sign of them.
Get in touch with sportshoes and looks like their costumer service only works from 2 to 3 pm + has been absolutely unhelpful.
While other cies sort it out with delivery cie , here I have to spend ages filling in a form etc etc ... result 3 weeks after paying for order no sight of anything excpet a lot of paperwork.

Last time I ever use sportshoes

This looks like Spam in reverse

Are you a retail competitor Daniel?

Screamapillar nice way of defence.
Why would I need to be a competitor.

What I said is the truth and I am sure many more users will discover it unfortunately at their cost, so I am just making sure some don t have the same experience.

I ordered a Garmin FR10 from Sportshoes on Monday evening. I used a 15% off voucher code and free delivery too. Cost me £67 and it arrived Wednesday morning via a DPD courier. I was kept up to date with exactly where my parcel was at all times.

I can't argue with that sort of service, top notch! This is my second dealing with them and I haven't had any problems at all (touch wood).

Hilly,
I ordered items before and all went fine. Issue here is delivery company messes up badly - says it delivered to letterbox when we talk about 200£ order, there is no letterbox and even if there were it would have to be gigantic.
So I revert to sportshoes costumer service to see what happened and one only gets an email reply late afternoon - doesn t help to get communication flowing - and after week of emails back and forth , all they propose is to fill in a loss form to then eventually get items reordered or cash back. We talk weeks of delay to finely get my orders + a lot of admin for me when in the end something looks very fishy on delivery company side.

This should be sorted out on sportshoes side including is it worth having a relationship with hermes . I even paid a delivery fee!!
If sportshoes saves 2 microcents/order coz hermes is cheaper than another one , they will have to make a  choice , keep this zero standard delivery cie but make sure they deal with the problems or change delivery provider - otherwise I just can t see any reason to see anyone wanting to go through same experience I have.

Note that I am not hiding as this is my name.

I hope sportshoes will see this post and wake up to the fact that this is no way to keep costumers satisfied and ultimately be it now or in a couple years time this will feed through.
Trust me I ve already went through  similar case of non deliveries with yodel ( which seems to have improved/ changed delivery person?) but never was I asked by seller to fill in a claims form and even if, they did resend the items asap.

daniel, I sense that you feel you're just a little more special than the rest of us.

What's a cie?

Only one complaint on here in 8 years. I'd say that there customer service must be pretty good on the whole. Sounds like this is a one off.

cie = company

so cies = companies
