Our local market has the old cotton string vests for the old men. I think they cost about £5.

May I suggest a therapist???

you can get them made of mostly mesh, i've seen women's ones with a panel of proper material over the chest, and men's ones that are mostly mesh. these were available a couple of years back, so should still be around now... it's worth a try asking if your local running shop has anything in the store room...

The images of a 'Wolf with Runs' in a string vest have just about made my night!
