HiI'd like to enter my first fell race this summer. I'm looking for one in the Lakes, ideally not too far from Grasmere. Any suggestions of a good one to start with?

Richard, try a short and sharp one first rather than a longish one, as I am from Wales cant really recomend any in Cumbria, just enjoy and see how you feel, and remember not everyone runs up the hills, but we all run down them.
