Suggestions for running and kid friendly hotel to stay in Madrid

A bit too early perhaps, but am planning trip to the european indoor athletics championships next March in Madrid.

If all goes well this will be ca six weeks before the London marathon and I will need to be able to get some heavy mileage in. Can anyone recommend a hotel which is close to a good area to train in and public transport as well as child friendly in Madrid.

i don't personally know of any particular hotel, but maybe you could try travelocity.com or a tour operator like thomson? i know that thomson do have specific child friendly hotels in spain, but i'm not sure about in the big cities. At least then you know that the hotel you're staying in is relatively decent.(Sorry if this isn't much help).
