Nice one birkmyre - and what have you done with your sunny and warm day?

21/05/2013 at 08:18

Nice one

Same for today?

22/05/2013 at 09:18

Morning each! Hope the soreness is fading by now Vixx. How are we all today?

My weigh in today - 12 stone again, so that's four pounds off this week without really trying hard on food - It's the difference between being in holiday mode eating too much and not running and being back in sensible portions and cranking the mileage back up (only to 14 miles this week, that's "up" by my recent standards though!).

I've sort of abandoned the idea of trying hard to get below 12 stone, I think it might be a natural stopping point for me. We will see what happens though if I stay sensible. If I can lose a pound a month for 6 months that will be plenty!

Could do with the sun coming through these clouds soon, meant to be out doing intervals at lunchtime and it'd be much more fun with some brightness! Have a good day all whatever you're up to!

Calf still got a little niggle, but getting better thanks Nicky. Well done on the 4lbs off! That's great.

Take it steady and see how your body feels - it might stay at 12st but you can still tone up and burn fat.

Anything in the pipeline birkmyre?

23/05/2013 at 09:01

Morning everyone

Nicky - well done getting the 4 pounds off.

Birkmyre - good look with the job hunting.

Vixx - How's the calf today?

hi all

been awol, away all last weekend and came back to a new pc at work so that's kept me busy

what runs have you all been doing? vixx another marathon?

dd a half I think I read

nicky sorry to hear about the depression but you seem to be on top of it all, keep running, oh and well done on the 4lbs

I am 10st this week so all seems to be about right

park run in the morning and then at the weekend sometime I aim to go out and plod about 15 miles, 5 weeks after vlm not done any long stuff, do people think I can manage it?  I never really know if I have lost it or what!

hi birkmyre, hope something turns up soon

24/05/2013 at 13:02

HI Wabo, cheers for the good wishes.

You'll manage your 15 miles fine I'm sure! Enjoy it! I've been running a bit more building the miles back up which is nice and have my longest run for ages this weekend, just the seven for me though.

Hope everyone else has a good weekend too - might even be barbecue weather!

24/05/2013 at 22:18

Wabo - you'll be fine. Just think "Vixx is a nutter" for the first 15 miles and then stop You won't have lost anything other than fluids and sweat.....

Yeah, I did Windemere last week - pics on FB

I am running at stupid o'clock over the Clent Hills, then visiting my brother and the kids

28/05/2013 at 09:45

Morning all - hope everyone had a good weekend.

28/05/2013 at 11:36

Not too bad thank you DD - how are you? What have you been up to?

28/05/2013 at 11:41

lol vixx I wish I had seen your post vixx is a nutter! I had a great 2hours plus run, decided to go by hours rather than miles because it was an off road , trail kind of thing.  Beautiful forest run!

Did everyone have a good weekend ?

28/05/2013 at 12:01

That's good going then Wabo

I'm trying to fight the lurgy at the moment :S

29/05/2013 at 10:44

oh vixx hope you keep that lurgy at bay

weigh in, dipped under 10st again

racing tonight, it will be a tough 10k, part trail part off road, tough uphill bits!

29/05/2013 at 11:02

Well done Wabo!

I'm 1 pound up but considering the weekend involved kebab, pizza and fish and chips that's some achievement.... the miles are definitely helping! I have to get out and do 4 miles including some intervals at lunchtime today, but it's very wet and miserable here.... need to find the motivation from somewhere!

29/05/2013 at 12:08

I am good thanks Vixx. Good luck in your race Wabo.  Well done on the weight loss. Get yourself out there Nicky - I love running in the rain ( I find it strangely invigorating)

29/05/2013 at 14:57

Well you are a duck.

29/05/2013 at 15:49

I strapped my flippers on and got out there. I've never swum so fast in my life.

I'll let you know whether it becomes invigorating later in the day... just now I feel like a drowned rat!

30/05/2013 at 08:52

race went well last night, course pb by maybe 7 minds although the start was changed slightly and it was a tine bit shorter but still I know I smashed it.  6 miles in 52.50, very hilly till about 3.5 miles too.  Happy Wabo...

30/05/2013 at 08:52

nicky that strapping on flippers comment made me chuckle
