Thanks Wabo. Bit chillier finish than last year.
I looked at my splits and the first 3 were sub 10 min miling, then mile 4 was 11:04, with all the following miles being sub 11, and my final mile was 10:15. With all the walkie bits I must have been running faster when I wasn't walking. So, much more consistent than the previous few major runs. Not so bad then

I have just put a deposit down on a new (to me) car. My company car goes back when the office closes for good at the end of November. Reality starting to kick in now. I am with you on the Wabo.

Been commuting 37 miles there and 37 miles back every week day for ten years and to be honest was getting fed up of the travelling.
Will miss the people in my office though.
Have you seen anything else yet DD? What sort of thing are you looking for?

I have been looking at the daytime classes at my gym for when I finish work. Think I will take my time off as an opportunity to go on a fitness drive.

DD - that sounds like a good plan! Maybe enter a marathon or something to keep you focussed
I am down to 14st 8lb. Have done another bodystat this morning as I see the surgeon in 10 days for my consultation.
Although I have lost 8lb now, my body fat has gone up slightly in a percentage sense, but the amount of fat I have is slightly less (coz there is less of me), but I have lost about 5lb of muscle
My hydration is much better than it was, and my BMI (which surgeons still use) is now at 32, which is the borderline that is stated on the Charing Cross website.
