Wabo - I know what you mean, I'm in print and I work on computers now, but years ago, it was typing and pasting things down, no SOUL now.

Vixx - Fingers crossed for your client that all goes well for her. A friend of mine had a lump removed from her breast and has just had to go through a historectomy, but she is still smiling. What a lady.

The tweeks are just simple things like the recipe says to put half a can of water in, but I found that was too much. It has cumin seeds in, which were great, but I will add a touch of coriander aswell next time. The topping was parsnip instead of potato, I think I would add a bit of butter, cumin seeds and black pepper into it to give it a bit more umpf to it.

ANyway, weigh day and I am over the moon, 10st 4.3, last week was actually 10st 7, i think I said 10st 8, so I lost nearly 3lbs this week but really I still just lost 2lbs in 2 weeks which is spot on.

LFC, print is a hard business to be in right now eh?

Wow! Well done Wabo! That's excellent on the weight loss! Hope your daughter feels better soon - message me if you want.

lfc - if you can cope with it I would put a small amount of jalapeno juice in - not much, just enough to give it a kick without it burning the kids' mouths.

Wabo - Very hard at the moment, worrying times.

Vixx - I'm fine with jalapeno's, I've even had habinero's. It's the rest of the family, they haven't got my spice gene, so I have to keep things mild for them.

Wabo - I forgot to say, well done on the weight loss.

Anyway, here's my weigh in. As expected, it hasn't moved, 16st 10.

The only indictor that something is happening is that my clothes don't feel tight anymore.

Off to London on Sunday to film the show. Fingers crossed I actually get somewhere this time and win something.

LFC, how did it go?

Its a funny thing weight, I have nearly lost a stone and hardly anyone notices, because they all say 'oh you never put on weight'.  Erm yes I do!!

Rain stopped play saturday, my race was cancelled so I pretty much stayed in and chilled.  Yesterday went to see spurs, which for once was good!
