A weight-loss sub-thread of The Long Green Ribbon Thread.
I'm here - 3lb heavier than last week, but I blame the Afternoon Tea.....
How is everyone?
Vixx - You'll soon get rid of that.
Big feed for me yearsterday. We went to a big spa and golf club for a Christmas meal with the kids. It was really good but I did eat a lot.
Hope everyone is ok - bit quiet on here.
Christmas shopping is almost complete - just a few bits and pieces and the food shop, then I am sorted.
Same here DD, not much left to sort. The tree and decorations went up yesterday with a lot of 'help' from the kids.
Hello. Presents were all bought and wrapped last month in anticipation of being elsewhere this month, so I have nothing to do other than plan the actual food shopping. :S
Hi all, I am well thanks vixx, my little tree is up, so not like me!
I had a heavy weekend too, peanuts, chocolates, wine.....
But it looked like you were busy Wabo! You looked like an extra from the Texas Chain Saw Massacre....
Cold one this morning. I'm really looking forward to the Christmas break coming up but I don't think I will be eating as much this year. Mince pies are my weakness so I have avoided buying them early this year to see if that helps stop the excess.
Think I'll have to get the tights on tonight for my run.
Morning LFC - heading out for a run in a minute.
I love mince pies too - hot with ice cream!!!!
vixx ha ha you saw my photo! I did look a bit mad!
Saw Billy Elliot last night, loved it!
DD - How did your run go?
Wabo - I've heard it's good. I haven't been to the theatre for a while, I'll have to change that as I really love going.
Very slow LFC - still getting over my cold and first run in a while. Kept going all the way round though - did 3 miles.
It was a bit slippy under foot in places where the path was in shadow. Be careful tonight LFC.
Morning Wabo glad you enjoyed Billy Elliot.
Thanks for the advice DD, I'll keep it in mind tonight. Last thing I need is another injury layoff.
Not much of a run for me last night. It wasn't the ice that stopped me, it was bad cramp in my calf after about a mile. I just couldn't stop it cramping up so I told the others to go on and I limped back.
It's still a bit sore today.
weigh in, 10st 2.5lbs, half a pound off!
Look after that calf lfc
I managed a run last night, really good run, I sort of set off like a mad cold woman and never slowed up! I was wrapped up nicely too.
Well done on the weight loss and a good run Wabo.
I was freezing this morning coming in on the bike. I think I'll have to wear a scarf across my face tomorrow.
Well done on the weight loss Wabo!
good thanks vixx.
lfc I had to put my bandana across my neck on this morning's run, it was bitter!
I wimped out and did 30mins on the treadmill at the gym.
Better than nowt DD!
Hi wabo and lfc!
