Thank you fuzzyvixx and Wabo, the first thing I have to decide are my goals. I know I want to lose some of the weight and tone up do that's going to be my staying point. I think I am going to try and really mix up my exercise so that my body doesn't get into a comfort zone. My choices are running, of course, free weights and exercise videos/wii exercise.

Good for you LFC.  I have started to follow the slimming world plan and have stepped up my exercise.  Being able to go to the gym and run during the day helps.  Being out of work does have some advantages

Thanks DD, good luck with the Slimming World. My mum has started Slimming World and has started losing already.

I pushed myself a bit harder on the bike ride into work today and will do the same later for the ride home. I am determined that nothing will get in the way of tonights run.

lfc well done on the run! Its a good distance though when you havent been doing much so I reckon thats pretty good!

weigh in, 10st 3lb, thats 3 of the holiday pounds off, shocked, reckon my weigh last week may have been an after effect of the flights maybe! Anyway back on track...

Vixx - I cycle in every day, but it's not far, only about 3 miles. The good thing is I have to make sure I don't dawdle and take my time as I only have 15 minutes from the time I finish work to having to be at my son's school to pick him up and I can never finish on time so it's normally 10 minutes I have.
