Wabo:I haven't been 9st anything since I was about 15 !
LFC - get a foam roller, or alternatively get mrs lfc to roll a tennis ball on the side of the knee/thigh as you are lying down. That'll loosen the ITB off to a degree! (will hurt though).
Birkmyre - I can't remember when I was last 9 stone anything.....
lfc, viva brazil sounds goooood! enjoy and the birthday cake too
when I was 15 I was probably 9st, then thorugh the 20's I reckon 9 and a half, in the 30's 10 ish 40 10st+ now I am 55.....
SO I did a park run today! 24.36, really please. NOt a 5k pb that was 23.56 but I tell you what its pretty close!!
right off to whirl and polish in the girls lovely bedroom!
vixx hoping to meet up still friday
Happy Birthday lfc!!!!!! Have a great day!
Wabo - just let me know. As far as I can remember I'll be in London from early afternoon and at the expo around tea-time.
A week today.....
There's a similar place like that in Altrincham, Salsa took me there. Great place, great food, but would have to go back with meat eaters and on a busier night as there wasn't much for Salsa to eat and the meat came round really fast as there were only 5 people in the place (Tuesday nights are dead there) and I didn't have time to finish one lot of meat before the next lot came round. Saying that, being as I am carb depleting until tomorrow some decent meat would be scoffed now!
What are you doing for the day?
That's what they do in Altrincham too and cut off what you fancy. I just prefer to not feel rushed Salsa didn't have much to eat though and being veggie I can understand you would not expect many vegetarians to go somewhere like that - but I would have thought they would offer a bit more for veggies in case. I'd have to go with fellow meat eaters next time!
Taper OK, just got a few things on my mind at the moment. London is my focus
10st, that'll do
girls home so I am so so happy
I'm still languishing around the 12 stone mark today, no hope of losing half a stone in the next two weeks so the 161 target is pushed back again. I'm not too bothered though, I am at least back out running, been out three times this week and feeling good, few twinges in the knees but gone by the next day so that's an improvement!
Vixx, how is the taper going? Building up the reserves like a coiled spring?
Wabo - you enjoy your time with them!
Nicky - I am starting the 'reserve building' today. I also have to go and purchase a new iPod as mine appears to have done a bunk
I will vixx - I think its why I am so chilled about sunday maybe? Just full of thoughts of them!
Morning all - it has been a while. I don't have access to the internet at work so the only time I log on is in the mornings.
Need to read back and catch up - hope everyone is ok.
thats me excited.....
Keep the lid on for a bit yet!
tee hee, I feel like that feeling you have when you are packing up for holidays or christmas! Just want to leave work now...
In for a catch up/nosey
All the best to those racing.
