A weight-loss sub-thread of The Long Green Ribbon Thread.
Good luck today Vixx.
Wabo - We don't get any biscuits here, Christmas or otherwise, so if it gets to much in your place, you can always pass some over here.
I will keep my fingers crossed for you LFC.
I am OK thanks - just on paracetemol and ibuprofen when required, so I'm happy
Nice one Vixx.
How are you feeling today Vixx?
Wabo - have you been resisting those biscuits?
I had a cooked breakfast yesterday for the first time in a while and wasn't really that keen on is as it tasted greasy even though none of it was fried. I must be getting used to a healthier diet.
That's good lfc
I'm pretty good thank you - just a bit bored now.
I am walking bits here and there - slowly and steadily. I have no stitches to come out, but have to be careful of getting the steri-strips sweaty - hence going sloooooooow.
What's your day like?
Not bad Vixx, just that work thing getting in the way of having any fun. Just be careful and don't try to do too much too soon. Easier said than done.
I am being careful. I have walked approximately 3 miles today in stages. I feel OK, but I wouldn't want to have to do any more today so am sitting with a book now
I sort of resisted biscuits lfc and then the quality street arrive...
just under 10 and half stone today, not where I want to be but hey ho
vixx glad all went well, sounds like you are getting there
back is in spasm at the moment so I went physio this morning, it has been so painful, a bit easier at the moment though. So no running going on, I did a really good half on Sunday though, had a great run. Where that came from I don't know! Back paid for it though!
Quality Street are approximately 50cal/sweet, so think before you eat! You'll have to run 1 mile for 2 sweets!
How's your piriformis Wabo - any problems there that might be triggering the back?
physio put his huge thumb straight into my glute sort of area - predicted it would hurt and it did! I think piriformis is around there vixx? thinking you may be spot on
Yep - that's it
I've managed to avoid the mince pies up to now, always a weakness of mine. Not through will power though, just haven't got round to getting some yet.
