Surely you'd stop and clean yourself up?

I'd rather 5 minutes off my time than the embarrassment of that!

I saw some of the race yesterday, the leading woman (NZL) for most of the race seemed to run similar to Paula Radcliff. She started to stumble or lose her concentration around 18 miles or so and not sure where she finished in the end.

The men were cracking on at a fantastic pace, slotting in 4.35's or so for many miles. It's a shame that because it's mostly downhill that it won't count as a WR time.

Never leave a Mars bar in your back pocket on a warm day.

It's only bodily functions, we all have them. Good on her for not giving a shit.

Oh... wait....

Hmmm reminds me so much about T2 at IMUK last year. I know 17 minutes is a crap transition, But I had to have a shower after what happened on the bike section

I once followed a guy who had done that. Good incentive to run a bit faster to get upwind of him

Me too in FLM 2006 Groovy.  Had to get in front of (and stay in front of) a lady who was in the same condition as the lady in the photgraph above ..... not pleasant from behind at mile 19
