Travel insurance for runners - General running

Could anyone suggest a travel insurance company that will cover you for running in the USA? Obviously as cheap as poss.. My wife is off to do the New York marathon this week.

I think most will - as long as you are not an elite athlete.

Under exclusions, mine says something like "racing, except on foot" (ie. racing is excluded, but foot races are not).

Try confused.com or moneysupermarket.com then look at the detail of the ones it comes up with.
