In one of his above posts, Tony touches on the possibility of all running mags. going digital and no longer available as hard copy. In this connection, I remember a couple of years or so ago, RW holding a questionaire on this very subject. They were obviously thinking along the lines of making the mag. available on line only. As far as I am aware, they never published the results of the survey. Athletics Weekly is already available on the web.

RW is quite a bit cheaper than RF - a year's subscription to RW is £29.99 whereas RF is £46.20. A case of, you get what you pay for? But RF annoys me too much - my mother was an English teacher so bad grammar and spelling was a hanging offence in our house, and RF is rife with both.

just imagine what my Mrs would say me going into the lav Rubber gloves, gel and Laptop under my arm

Agree with Tikka that the grammar in RF used to be terrible; I don't think it's quite so bad now but it is still littered with mistakes particularly in the 'events' section. It's almost like a running club newsletter at times but as a commercial magazine, and in this day of autochecks for spelling and grammar, the magazine should get it right? I'm worried about posting anymore comments now in case anyone picks me up for poor grammar and spelling!!!!!!!!

I buy the Italian RW and I think it's absolutely fab. I've been running for 5 yrs and it still caters to my needs (training, race reports, health advice, interviews, gear on trial etc).

Sorry to disagree but I also think Zest is a good light-hearted read too. No way as serious but there are interesting articles, such as make up & hair (must look good for my mararthon photos )

so rf used to be todays runner,i used to buy this every month takes me back,only recently threw bags of them away for recycling,i watched the recycling guys pick them up they had big grins they were going through them they thought it was porn mags.used to love todays runner.

Thats not the worst bit, if she asks you what your going to be doing in the lav with all that stuff and you just say "just reading some running articles" then she will start to get worried!
