Shinedown - Diamond Eyes....reminds me of our troops on active service...
Bles the lord my soul - Taize Chant also any Byzantine music
99 Problems Jay Z and I quite liked David Guetta Titanium
sad i know but the rocky song were he ends up running up the steps
Gonna fly now - Bill Conti (Rocky Theme to everyone else)
It's been my 'current' track for about 5 years now!!
Dakota by Stereophonics. Can't bear the song but for some reason it seems to be working for me at the moment on my runs. Maybe because I go faster in the hope of finishing before the song does. My credible answer is probably Pounding by Doves. Also enjoy running to anything by Hadouken and We Are Scientists.
Anything by Status Quo, as the beat is perfect for a steady pace run.
'Born to Run' by Bruce Springsteen. Obvious choice I suppose, also 'Thunder Road ' also by Mr Springsteen.
Ha ha! Some great choices, I was struggling along this morning when Fallen Angels by Black Veil Brides came on, it certainly got me moving in mile 9 of my 10 miler.
bink 182 "always" slow start then builds up to a fast tempo hen as you have give everyting over the last 200 yards picks up again to help you over the line !!!
The fastest on my Ipod is "Sabre Dance" by Love Sculpture. Whenever it comes on, I increase my pace to try and keep up with the tempo.
The floral dance with Terry Wogan. I just imagine thats coming up behind me and I run like F.

Sorry to digress, but you've (semi) named checked one of the most under-rated guitar players (& producer) in the World; Sadly, I only ever seem to find out about any tours after he's gone homehttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dave_Edmunds

Phil Pub - Only one song beats Vienna by Ultravox.........What's the matter you/Why you looka so sad?
Good shout. Have you been pub quizzing again?
The entire "Songs for the deaf" album by Queens of the Stoneage is my best musical motivator when out running. I ran a 10K race on that back in May and I'm sure it gave my a great kick up the arse!
The Future ..Leonard Cohen ....
don't run when I am listening to music, but at the moment I have got Nantucket Sleigh Ride going around and around in my head
Or perhaps 'Closing Time' from that LP/CD?????
the birdy song, pitched up.
