+1 for the micropore tape.
I normally double over a piece to actually cover the offending areas and then tape it in place, that way not as painful to remove later in the shower!

My Squeeze uses wide micropore tape.
No potions or creams, just a tight technical vest (it doesn’t move, so it doesn’t rub) and loose technical shorts with a liner – if you get the right fit and materials you don’t need anything else IMHO.
