Welcome Adri. Getting cold here now, 10 miles tonight with a track session in the middle, 5 x 5 minute efforts plus a run up there and back. Stopped raining but blowing a gale as we're on top of a hill. My car heating has packed up so have to get that sorted soon! MC, what turbo have you got, need to start thinking about bicycling!

Good morning all

After two days of running to and from work my legs are feeling it a bit,today and possibly for the rest of the week going to cycle in. This will allow me to restock cloths and food at work and give my legs a rest before this weekends running.

Chris, Believe me  depending on what motorbike I get I will be dropping the running to work and either cycling or riding, much prefer running when there's nothing about rather than having to run around people and stopping to cross roads until there's a break in the traffic.

soc turbo session for me. Kate - I have an elite chrono elastogel, it was about £140 from wiggle, it is very good. I also use my garmin with a speed cadence sensor. It is really quick to get the bike on and off, so I don't leave it set up - the kids would just mess about on it

Morning. After a couple of weeks of due to pinging a muscle behind my knee in daft 10k impromptu silly speed (I got a PB though 40mins) I'm back on the trails. Did 18 miles this morning. It was so amazing out. Beautiful sunrise.

Morning all, cold here this morning as well, can see the lycra coming out of store soon 9 miles but out at a leisurely 6.45am, late start at work today.  NW, moon good here as well, muntjac deer, two dog walkers with dogs, field of shetland ponies.

Enjoy the new bike Kate, and same Valis though slightly more motorised I am guessing.

Well my running buddy and I debated by text last night whether to go out this morning because of possible ground frost, but decided to wait and see .... which meant I got up at 1.15 & 3.30 to check , before actually getting up at 5.20 to meet at 6, to do 4 miles - so am a tad tired now!

Hat, Gloves & 2 tops required this morning, but ran under a full moon and stars - not got the hang of NW yet .... watch this space!

nothing wrong with a bit of frost - I am the clumsiest person and don't slip on frost. It is that horrible ice that forms when snow has been compacted after several days that is the problem and would keep me inside, or I would run on the gritted road surface but ready to get out of the way of cars

5.30 10k run for me this morning. Cold hurt my hands so much though, I was in tears by time I got home!
