Good Evening L&G

Well done Gobi and Valis.

Did Parkrun #1 in 28 mins beaten by 3 mins by son.

Really enjoyable small event. Was totally disorientated by the 5k distance - that's usually my marathon warm up!

Anyway time to start packing for Christmas hols.

Oi, Kate, you total slacker..... 10 press ups.....

morning all

amuses me that magazines/the media have to classify everything, and funny how they came up with a nice neat number like '10'. There was another website someone had linked to on facebook where they had classified 7 types of runner! Anyway, not sure I am any of them

taking a few days off to make sure I recover fully from this latest lurgy and get through to the end of term...

Good afternoon all

22 mile this morning

Nw swans, ducks, heron, OR 4

At one point along the canal saw a lad on the other bank creeping along through the bushes with an air rifle. He saw me and tried to shield the gun with his arm from my sight, I think he was looking to bag himself a duck. I then spent the next few minute's wondering what the range of a high powered air rifle was and was I now in his sights.

Chris, I couldn't see the tired sore and aching runner, I am that one at this moment.

Got to be the early morning runner surely? Not today though as we partied a little to hard for Mr F's birthday last night so I have only just been out. Slacker.

15/12/2013 at 16:03

Birky - rest day?? Hope you're not becoming a slacker too!!

15/12/2013 at 17:47

Phew... family Christmas done.  No fights/rows/etc.  Well done to my old man, a half decent meal too!

Maths, I'm meant to take a few weeks off.  Valis, single treatment followed by stretching and strengthening.   I do hope it works as I have had this problem on and off (mostly on of late) for 5ish years.

Blimey, what's been going on?  Is Kate slacking again?

Gobi, well done on the 100th.  Do you award yourselves a special T Shirt?

Valis, you do put some serious mileage in!  Impressed.  As for the lad on the other bank, did you have a garmin on?  Was there a brief spell of super fast running?  ;)

SPOTY on telly.

Morning all,

A VERY SOC for me today. Got back from the christmas double at 11pm and was up at 3.30 to run with the dog. Very sore today!

PSC - How are you feeling?

Kate - not a bad workout!

530 - well done on your first park run! Was your son happy to have beaten his old man?

morning Emmy... how do I feel?  Lazy at the moment.  I am going to run this week.  Otherwise I feel as if I will simply seize up!

Crickey, you're burning both ends a bit aren't you!

just been told not to run for a bit (he was a bit vague on this point) and do some flexibility stuff on my back.  I got the impression that I was being allowed to make some of the decision!  I can't not do anything for another week!

I'm looking forward to Christmas week too, although I am working on most days - but the office will be ghostly quiet!

Blimey Emmy, you'll be shattered by tonight. T25 for me, spin and run tonight, and only one boozy night planned this week.
