I think so, I was supposed to do a long run today but got an email last night saying I could have a place if I wanted it, so now my long run is on Weds with some company and someone giving me drinks on the way!

Kate - good luck for your races. Sneaky marathon? that made me laugh

made it to the gym yeaterday after work, so not totally lazy, It will be the gym again this afternoon I think, then a nice early morning run tomorrow, but I will keep it short. Got to build up slowly or it will be back to square 1

off to watch eldest son performing this morning (playing cornet) along with all the other kids that go to the saturday performing arts centre...

Had a 'not so SOC' today of 6 30 as it's Saturday - 11.2 miles, less cold (+0.5) than Thursday, however the pavements were more icy .... managed to say 'morning' to a lot more people today as we were out later and longer

Hello all - very not SOC for me as I had to deposit my mother at the station, training session instead on a hill in 30 second bursts, ouch. Beautiful day though. Enjoy the weekend.

Evening all - 9 miles this morning in perfect weather, then an afternoon of garden maintainence and bonfire tending!

10 miles this morning left a little bit later than normal so second half of run was done in the light so so a bit more than normal.

NW 1 cat with out a tail, 1 red kite 1 magpie  OR 2 

What I didn't see was what ever tripped me up at mile 7 (although I blame the single magpie and my failure to recite the rhyme)  apart from a sore and grazed elbow

Chris, If it wasn't for the gs750 suzuki's first 4 stroke there might not of been a GSXR 1000 , the good news is mine is being delivered on Tuesday

Morning -
4 miles this morning. Not so cold today but grey and overcast. 

NW 2 horses, several dogs, a few crows and a bunch of squaddies doing map reading exercises.

this morning I did an early turbo session and have had a little run this afternoon, off to the pool later

Evening all - hard XC this morning, not just the sandy hills but also the hangover and tired legs from dancing until midnight and deciding to do another run and swim yesterday afternoon. Chris, I was expecting a spaniel chasing a deer to cross my path at any moment. Valis, those magpies are trouble if you don't give them the rhyme, bought some buffalo mitts today, I think I will get a good try out of them next week.

Kate - the running and deer chasing took place earlier than usual today as I had to get back for some log chopping! I now have two axes (a big one and a small one) and had about 3 large trees worth of logs to split. So I'm becoming well practised in axe wielding if ever the zombie invasion happens. 

I will head your way if the undead awake Chris.

Kate, You won't regret buying them , They don't look like they are up to much but they work so well , let me know how you get on with them.

Maths, Could of been but survived with a course of red wine,peep show and savlon .

Chris,Hope those axes are long handled as you wouldn't want to get in to close to dispatch the undead.

Morning all. Easy 9 miles this morning, this 5am running is proving to be a revaltion. Looks like getting my milage up for a proper attempt at a spring marathon is actually achievable.
