Morning all - run at 9am today for me with my coach, then swimming lesson. Making the most of my garden leave, unfortunately spent quite a lot of it in the pub yesterday so not sure how effective I will be today!

5:30 - do we need to guess where you are? I will guess at USA

off for a haircut and a few bits of shopping today - need to get to the shops early as I hate crowds. Then either a run or the gym this afternoon and then going out this evening, fingers crossed the dreaded norovirus hasn't infected anyone else in the family, although it would be better to get it over and done with this week if it has!

6 miles this morning but not really SOC as we didn't get out until 9am. Still, it nice to be out in the sun and not having to rely on headtorches to see our way. Quite a few other runners/mtn bikers and horse riders about and loads of birds for rusty to chase!

Off to County Cork tonight to pay the builder for some work he's done on our cottage. Will try to squeeze in a run along the beach tomorrow morning before flying back in the afternoon - might even have a dip in the sea if it's not too rough!

Kate - hope you're enjoying the gardening leave. Are you actually doing any gardening?

Afternoon - 6 mile run, boot camp and spin this morning, hard work. Not doing any gardening yet as they're not letting me go yet, was working yesterday and have to go into London to meet with my MD, I'm worried they're going to lock me in a cupboard and not let me out. Very brief visit to Ireland Chris, I will be impressed/horrified if you swim in the sea! Have a good time tonight MC. 5.30, maybe another one out in Australia, I'm guessing it's not the Isle of Wight this time?

Chris, the sea is about 8 degrees... why on earth would you want to get in it?    You're mad!!

Just debating whether to run or not...  I've got a bit of a cold.

Kate, your training is coming on nicely.  Although being locked in a cupboard might enforce some rest.

4 miles, frosty, bit foggy, but lovely to be out. NW - squirrels and blackbirds

felt tough, but then I haven't even run all week

PSC - might be worth just having a rest

Chris - sea swim would be nice and refreshing after a sweaty run

my advice to you is a long and slow pint of the dark stuff..... 

Oh no.... I hate flying for precisely this reason!!

Morning all - Mr F's birthday yesterday so was busy baking cakes and eating them, managed 9.5 miles in the sunshine. Training session this morning, can't persuade my coach that pre 6am is a good time to go out.Chris, hope you made it back at a reasonable time. MC, good to see you back out there. PSC, I might race on Boxing Day, there's a 3.5mile run with the option of a pint of local bitter a mile from the end. 5.30, very nice, I went to Langkawi for my honeymoon, one of the best meals I've ever had was in the Bon Ton restaurant there.
