yes, many happies to Mr F..I like the sound of the pint before the end run... Home counties does Medoc.
Tommy living the high life I see
5 fairly warm miles done here. What hapened to winter? Very busy day ahead and then physio this evening. It's all go!
hope Mr F had a good birthday
5:30 - I have always fancied going to Malaysia
it is boiling hot in my classroom this morning and I haven't even got any kids in here yet
sleepless night, OH has got the dreaded norovirus now so was tossing and turning and groaning all night keeping me awake. I am not a very sympathetic wife
made it home just in time to see the final 10 minutes of SPOTY so noit all lost!
Out this morning for a quick run before heading off into the traffic jams on the M3 and A316. NW 1 deer, 1 dog walker with 2 Visla hounds and 1 crow (Rusty gave chase!)
My P&D marathon plan starts today with an 8 miler, 4 at HM pace. Running tonight so will be in the dark but a few more people around. This is the darkest week of the year in theory so it's all looking bright from next week.
Good morning all
6 miles this morning good conditions out.
I'll echo what Birky said where did the weekend go and now it's Tuesday already so many things to do.
Morning you lot
Tired as collected younger son from school 6th Year Christmas Dance at 12:15am this morning. Stifles a yawn
3easy miles. NW: 2 Large Christmas Trees , 1 owl, 1cyclist. 2 horses.
7 warm and moderately paced miles done.. and by gum it is dark out there. Physio last night "cracked" my back in 3 places... instant relief. Amazing.
first soc run since october, felt great only 3 miles walk/run. When I say felt great, it didn't really, I seem to have lost a lot of fitness, but the getting up and out and being back to normal felt good, although the knee still doesn't feel totally right
Rest day for me today. First run of plan last night, 8 miles with 4 at HM pace, felt hard keeping it at that level without other runners round you. SOC tomorrow, 9 miles at general aerobic pace
Morning all - 6 miles SOC then in the pool for swim drills. Obstacle course this morning with bins, leaf blowers, road sweepers and two very excitable dogs, well controlled by their owners though. Birky, late night taxi service, how much are you charging? PSC, I was thinking this morning, I do love my SOC but now I'm missing a beautiful morning, that said too much traffic and too many people. MC, well done on the first SOC for a while, it will only get easier. JF, harsh start to the plan! Valis, when do you finish for Christmas? Chris, no deer legs yet?
Morning all,Seemed extra dark out this morning but at least the it'll be getting lighter from Friday - that's if the world doesn't end as predicted!
No deer legs yet but not through lack of trying!
MC - good to hear you're back on the SOC runs again.
5.30am 10k, was relatively mild out.....!
Kate: Good to be back out then ? He was off today, so was charged 1 hour of walking Geordie
Maths - don't worry, you will get the fitness back. Well done for not rushing back form injury. You should come back stronger (and maybe a bit wiser)!
Kate, I know what you mean.... I was finishing my run just as the edge of the sky was starting to brighten with the impending dawn, and I stopped for a while and watched it get brighter. Winter solstice this weekend, then it's only going to get better all the way to summer!
Evening all.... the telly continues to get worse!
Just been watching some of SPOTY on bbc site.
just watched the last two episodes (ever) of The Killing. Great TV.
A 4M Tempo run, fairly flowing along which was pleasing.
NW: 1owl, 1 Kingsmill Van, 1 cyclist, 2llamas, 4 horses, 3 large Christmas Trees.
sounds good Birky...
Having a morning of washing up and breakfast here... Might try and run later, but still shielding a cold that so far hasn't progressed past runny nose stage.
Mornnig psc. Yeah quite pleased re the run today.
I wonder how JF50 got on with the Pfitz first run yesterday...?
I had a look at the Pfitzinger schedule - holy moly... wouldn't work for me. It would wear my little leggies off! Mid week 19 milers noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
