4.3 miles this morning, but knee still not happy getting really fed up with it now
Morning all, switched my programme round a bit to fit everything in this week, work included Treadmill run last night 5 miles at recovery so rest day today and an early one planned for tomorrow, 8 miles with 10x 100m strides, should wake me up.
Birky, is this finished finish this time? Good early miles Valis, out early for those I'll bet. Kate Hot Yoga? Strange pictures in my head. MC and PSC hope those knees just get better, it's a bugger not knowing exactly what an injury is. Morning V4D, sounds like a good place to run where you live.
No SOC for me today as I am off to foreign parts on business..I have packed my running gear so hopefully some new scenery to run in tomorrow, I'll keep you posted
gotta fly, see you all later.
Hi V4D - I'm knew to the thread as well. So far this year 5 6am runs for me, which I think is more in total than the last 3 months of 2012! The 1st mile was, by far, the slowest as I think the legs were still asleep and, perhaps, slightly tired from the best 1st 7 days of a new year (running mileage wise) that I have had since starting this running lark in earnest back in 2007.
Felt like spring had arrived early this morning. Mild and dry and noticeably more light in the sky than of late. Here's the forecast from my mate Ulric, the long range weather forecast man....
Will be intrigued to see how that plays out Chris especially the slightly longer term outlook which few forecasters seem to take a gamble on anymore.
Chris - I would love a mild winter
JF50:Yes I think it is all over come 31st March this time. Mind you I said that the last time !
Ulric was uncannily accurate in his forecasting last year so hopefully we'll escape a big freeze in 2013.
Thanks for the welcome all. Up at stupid O'clock to try out a new gym class today and running after work. I must admit it was hard to extract myself from my bed this morning .
3M a bit faster today. Colder than of late.
NW: 1 owl, 1 Kingsmill Van, 2 cyclists, 3 BMWs (BMW 'corner' ) ,PW: 1 car, 2 Large Christmas Trees yet to be taken down by council.
1 Yellow Construction Digger, as our street is getting new parking spaces tarmaced this week. At long last.
Kate: It could well be Ovetts English Cousin. What can we call him then ?
Good morning all
5 miles this morning wet but still warm here was intending to do some intervals but started garmin without putting it in to workout / interval mode. Turned out for the best as legs quite felt heavy after last couple of runs.
Nw 1 muntjac deer
Jf50, yes 3 miles or 22 4am - 4-30 out the door bar Saturday and Sunday.
Morning Birky no run today
valis:Hopefully a win tonight for Blues.
I hope so and without conceding any .
Welcome V4D.. morning early risers.
The knee seems better almost after a day of rest and self-massage! Been out and done 30 mins of lunches, stretches, jogs and sprints around the village and the legs appear to be generally functioning. Delighted.
I vote for Rupert the English Owl... as in twit, twa.....RUUUUUUpert. Drum roll please............................
