Interesting - lots of bike events (and so far no bike training)... and quite a few gaps!
Morning you lot
Smiry rain up here.
Morning Birky.. look like we are getting it tomorrow... trying to work out what kit to pack for a 6 hour run in it...
Don't know mate, waterproof and a breathable thermal I know thats stating the obvious !
Morning to you too maths
Adrian and Jason: Welcome to the madhouse.
the obvious is good... and a hat! It's x-country so it will be slow. Keeping warm might be the name of the game!
psc: Thats very true mate, very true. All the best with it.
23rd 6am run so far this year for me (more than the total last year). List of the races, which I have entered this year - quality, rather than quantity:
7 April Blackpoolmarathon (finishing in my beloved Bloomfield Rd!)
28 April Snowdonia half marathon (starts & finished in my home town)
22 June Trail Marathon Wales – just doing the half again
26 October Snowdonia marathon (my local one and 7th consecutive one)
Mornig John: Many years ago on holiday as a kid in Blackpool I remember going with my dad into the Stanley Matthrews Sports Shop near Bloomfield Road
Good morning all
10 miles inc park run,a rather enjoyable alternative route today as 300+ runners are taking their toll on one of the usual paths we use.
off soon with my youngest Nephew to Fulham road for his first game. Not sure who is more excited.
John, nice colours
Psc ,Cidre/PS3/Cake/Chocolate/the odd joggette!!! is that the same event as my wine/ ale/PC/vindaloo/ joggette.
Birky, hope that weather cheers up soon for you.
hi to all missed must dash.
Valis, yes, that's the one!
master swim session was brill, much harder than the normal tri club session. I am going to try to go twice a week - should see some massive improvements in fitness and hopefully speed
Park Run was a wash out today, turned up and couldn;t figure out where I was meant to be. Saw some people take off and start running so followed them. Got chatting to another runner, turns out the park run was cancelled!!! But ran it anyway!
Lots of snow here in Oxfordshire this morning but nothing has settled.
You guys put me to shame with all the races you enter, I am such an amateur Am very impressed!!
Happy Weekend peeps!
It was cold, wet and windy when out walking Geordie.
Another 20 miler in the bag - only few more to go now!?
jason - good luck with the marathon, and to those doing punchball today
I have done an hour on the turbo with knee feeling ok during that. fancied doing more, but thought I better stop before things start hurting. Swimming with tri club tonight
Morning all - 14 very slow miles in the rain, 1 pheasant, 1 rabbit, 2 cows and lots of sheep. I think all of last night's red wine is sweated out now. Yesterday was a boot camp and double spin session, I'm still feeling the effects of one legged burpees. PSC, I know you're out there already, have fun and you're right, it's raining in Witley. MC, good that you enjoyed the masters, Mr F found it was a hard session. Jason, enjoy the mud, John, that must have been an early start. Out for dinner and to see a comedian tonight, then into London for two day's of training tomorrow, must do some work this afternoon. Happy Sunday.
Good evening all
18 miles this morning in the much needed rain
Nw 1 fox OR - 2 PW 3 dog section cars and 1 van.
Adrian and John good mileage going on there.
Jason and Chris and PSC , Hope your races went well.
Maths, Good to see your recovering from the injury.
Kate, Hope you had a nice time tonight ,is tomorrows training useful or one of those compulsory bore jobs that companies put new staff on.
Birky, Had a great time with Nephew yesterday should fit another game in before the end of the season.
One happy Nephew who was even happier two and a half hours later
