morning all... residual snow from yesterday still hasn't gone - just about to check if the roads are clear as I need to be in work today rather than working from home...
there is a BN (nig number) coming up... It's a good way of checking you are no inadvertantly ignoring anyone.... this should be post number 11982 on the thread? 12,000 will be a bit of a milestone.
gosh, doesn't seem long since we hit 10000 posts! Think it might have been you, PSC that got that one!
naughty this morning because the alarm went off and I stayed in bed. Oh well, I can do something this evening. I didn't actuallly go back to sleep, always feel bad when that happens, at least if I go back to sleep there is some benefit to staying in bed!
I have noticed the mornings are getting lighter, it is so frustrating not running though, but I think I need to make sure I get out walking in the morning to enjoy the sunrise
Good morning everyone.
My running load is a little light at the moment, having something of a mini taper ahead of the Reading Half on Sunday. 5k Parkrun Saturday just gone, new PB of 19:39, which I was pleased with, especially as it was raining, I was still a little sore from a sports massage Thursday afternoon and the I was about 30 secs behind the group in front and 30 secs ahead of the group behind, so pacing felt difficult. Starting to think there is a
Ooh! What happend to the rest of my post??
Was supposed to go on to say....
Starting to think there might be a
It's done it again!
Starting to think there might be a sub 19:30 5k in me soon!
You got there in the end Martin! Weights in the garage and then a 2K swim this morning, 9 miles at track kast night, gosh it was cold. Off to London now then out for a few drinks with my old colleagues tonight. Feel guilty when there is unpacking still to be done... Have a good hump day.
Morning all, obviously too late to make history!
Out by 5am for a 9 miler with 5 x 1000m at about 5km pace, just over 7 minute miling for me, that's a silly way to make room for breakfast! Or enjoy hump day!
Good Morning L&G
One of the hardest SOCs this morning. After a lot of thought I got the debit card out and entered the SDW50.
I might tell Mrs 5.30am it's "only" 50km like last weekend....she already thinks my mid-life crisis has reached silly proportions.
I think I may do some non-race training for this.
Not been able to post until now.
Lost at least 4 !
Oh right my post was okay earlier ?
Morning you lot
Cold one up here.
valis: A Blues home 2-0 tonight will do nicely.
I wonder if the forum is creaking a bit.. what with multiple posing errors, the silly small font, problems when you edit etc - something has gone wrong!
5:30, your training is coming on brilliantly. I am not going to see you for dust in a month! I've just realised that I am doing the SD mara the week before Brighton! Should be a nice long run to do before a week off to taper! Then the bike training starts... Wasn't there a heat wave last year at Brighton? I wonder if we will have the same in a month?
Up and at em folks.....
Oh, go on then... 12,000
