Saw a rabbit and a woodpecker this morning. Nothing much else to report! Oh yes, and a dead badger!
Bathroom is now finished. Had the ceremonial flushing
Morning you lot
45mins with Geordie. Smiry rain, warm though.
NW: 1 Kingsmill Van, 12 cows, 2 rabbits.
PW: 1 car.
your bathroom didn't take long birky
off to parkrun this morning then the masters swim, very sleepy though and getting out of bed was difficult
No SOC run this morning as off to do the Mid Summer Munro at 4pm. Have a good weekend all.
Morning maths: No and they worked away at it.
Chris : Enjoy your Munro. What one is it ?
morning folks - I've just woken up!
10 miles this morning including Park run. Now the rain has cleared it's quite sunny, may even get a couple of hours before the next scheduled downpour.
Maths , hope you had a good park run.
Chris, You should do well as long as you put in enough hours of prancercise,
Chris - goodluck at the munro
I was slow at parkrun this morning, but then, I woke up feeling really tired so I least I got there and ran, and went to masters swimming after. We were doing 10x100m, but because I am the slowest in the lane I didn't actually get any rest between the 100s so it was a 1000m fast - knackering! and that was after the 800m warm up then 200m kick after that. No wonder I am tired now!
Evening all - another 70 mile bike for me this morning, feeling a bit grotty, not helped by two boozy sessions this week, so canned the run and swim. Marbella tomorrow so hopefully the sun and sea swims will sort me out. See you in a few days!
have a great time Kate. Marbella is good for celeb spotting!
Munro done and dusted. James' shoe fell to bits at mile 5 so he ran the remaining 8 miles barefoot. Don't know where he gets his craziness from - must be his mother!
Kate - have a great holiday.
Rest Day for me today
Kate: Hope you enjoy Marbella.
Chris: Well done on your Munro.
Chris - well done to you and James - running without a shoe is a bit hardcore!
seem to have opted for a lazy morning! We were supposed to be doing the Great Notts bike ride as a family, but the weather forecast has put off the rest of the family, so we are going clothes shopping for my eldest son who just seems to be getting bigger and bigger. I think I know what I would rather be doing (not the shopping!)
anyway, stayed in bed instead of doing any cycling so might do some later, have simming tonight anyway
Good morning all
18 miles this morning. light wind , warm and occasionally sunny.
Nw 3 sheep, 1 woodpecker 7 magpies and two more feasting on....Dw 1 squirrel.
Chris, Well done to you and james, how are his calves this morning after the barefoot running.
Kate, Have a good time
oh great we've been spammed!
Hi folks - Chris, LOL at your comment "must be from his mother".. well done to you both on the Munro.
Valis - you're still running strong. Kate, the booze won't help! I tried to fit my new stem last night and snapped the head bolt clean in two. I feel like a bit of a numpty now!! I'm also wondering whether to get a straight replacement or get another manufacturers type head bolt thingy - trouble is that I don't really know what I am doing!
Warm and sunny again here this morning. Younger son retuning today from Stornoway.
Hill Session done and legs feel a bit tired.
NW:1 owl, 1 Kingsmill Van, 5 or 6 rabbits, 1 fox
PW: 1 car
PSC - I also have no idea so can't offer any advice
decided to stay in bed because when I woke at 4 I had a headache. It was gone when I woke up again later though
Morning maths: Glad you're feeling better.
Our kids and MrsB finish for their school summer hols this Thursday 27th June.
Took the day off from running yesterday - (only the 5th day off this year) and a short run this morning to get the legs moving again after all those steps at the Munro! NW just the one rabbit, DW the same badger, SIIACW (stupid idiot in a car watch) 1 obviously late for work and overtaking on blind bends and risking himself and others moving to the DW category!!
