oh 5:30 that is a shame, after all that hard work tapering
I'm gutted. No reasons given except for circumstances.
I might have to do some training now. Shocking.

Dark! When did you start?
morning peeps. I'm sitting on the patio with a cuppa. Should go to work really, but it's so nice. Just waved the OH off on a long run and am slightly jealous of her and another mate as they head off into the wilds of Kentish Kent.
4:30 PSC. I have to be in the shower by 6 to be ready to leave (I have to gets kids sorted too) by 7.
Crikey! That's dedication! I was snoring like a drunken lord at 4:30!
well, my alarm went off, then there was a car alarm going off for ages too, so definitely a sign to get up. I am a bit too blurry eyed at that kind of time to trust myself on the roads on my bike though! running is ok because you can do that blurry eyed with no risk to yourself or others!
Was up in Nottingham for my son's graduation yesterday. Didn't get much sleep on Wednesday night as we were staying in a small hotel room with no air con so we had to leave the window open which meant listening to a woman in a nearby house who spent the night cursing and screaming and shouting and crying and general making a racket!
Graduation went really well though and we were both very proud parents but a little sad that it was our last trip to Nottingham after both our sons attended Uni there and we've had a connection with the city for over seven years.
Anyway, out for a short run this morning and maybe a swim after work later. Have a good weekend everyone!
Chris - you'll have to come up and do outlaw then
Good plan Maths!
maths; That was 'a very cunning plan' you had today.
Afternoon all - I am being good and having a rest day today. Well maybe a little swim or some weights later. 5.30, how rubbish, you could run Fairlands Valley instead if you fancy a day out on the M25. MC, it must be getting darker further north, still light with me at that time. Just some new brake pads on the car so not that bad. Nearly the weekend.....
What a time by Mo Farah !
New European Record at 1500m... Wow.
grey today. It would be wouldn't it. I'm hosting a work BBQ at home so need the challenge of errant weather.
Have a good weekend peeps!
For those who haven't seen it
It's dull and warm up here so far. I'm painting the garden shed today.
Watched it last night birky, amazing run for a 10K specialist. 2K open water without the wetsuit this morning, safe to say I was panicking all the way but survived. Tomorrow will be tough.
