Do we have prize money in the thread.....?
rest day because I am shattered!
SOC run and OW swim at Heron Lake tonight. NW 1 rabbit, 4 cows
I see some of forum features are growing back. My symbol has reappeared after 6 weeks absence! #whobroketheforum
Good morning all
10 miles this morning, when I woke up I could hear and see thunder and lightning through the curtains. As I got ready to go out I imagined a refreshing run in cool rain. I was soon disappointed the storm had passed and what little rain had fallen turned this run into a very humid one as the paths quickly dried out.
Nw 5 magpies, 1 fox, 7 geese 4 horses
Well done Chris and Kate good racing in tough conditions at the weekend.
I ran in the storm, so hot and humid though, it did rain on me but it wasn't even refreshing! 4 miles done and stayed in town as it was pretty dark
last day of school today
Very muggy in Farnham but no thunderstorms or lightning. Went swimming in a very warm Heron Lake yesterday evening after work. Apparently the water temperature was 25c but still the majority of swimmers wore wetsuits!
Will be back at Datchet tonight for a swim and then home for a bbq.
thundering most of the morning here and looks like more is on the way
hardly any of the threads I normally post on are working may have to do some housework instead
and Happy Birthday Chris
Can I join your thread? Been running at 530 For the lasts 2 weeks as children off school . Starting to wonder what the point of it all was but read this thread and realised I wasn't alone .
8 miles this morning.
Nw 8 rabbits 6 magpies
Chris, Happy Birthday so your a Leo too.
More snail, Of course you can.
MSTH.... you are not alone.
Chris, many happies old chap
morning Valis and the Gang.... I'm just stuffing my face and then out on the bike!
I am up for work every morning at around 0445, and have to run in the evenings. At the weekend, the old body clock wakes me up at the usual time. I take this opportunity to go for a nice run and love it. Cross Country and variable distances. The silence is great, with the widlife just mulling around (so peaceful).
The good thing is, that the family are often still in bed when I get back home, so that precious time is not lost.
These days, I am a bit of a coward when it comes to poor inclement weather and can opt for a nice cup of tea and a television catch up.
welcome snail and popeye
decided to stay in bed as it is first day of the holidays - but kids were up and arguing at 6:30, arghhhh
had the craziest rain last night - apparently about 3 inches fell in half an hour, it did look like it was coming down in actual buckets, and the force of it made some come in around the edges of the only window we didn't get relaced earlier this year, and through the letter box, and we have discovered a leak in the roof. Not much chance of getting anything sorted before we go on holiday though, so hope we don't have rain like that while we are away.
Chris - happy birthday (think it was yesterday?)
Whoever you are. Many Happy Returns.
Rained cats and dogs in Stevenage at around 2am (Tuesday evening), Thunder and Lightening, loud and close. That would have most certianly been a cup of tea and tv morning, if is was the weekend.
I know, what a wimp
Thanks for the birthday wishes! I went for a birthday run yesterday morning and a birthday swim last night followed by a family bbq and a cake with 3 candles on!
Had a wow moment on the cycle home last night... I go past a private landing strip in Postling just outside Folkestone and saw this!
A Hurrican and a Spitfire. I waited for a bit as the folk around the aircraft were clearly fueling it up.... and it took off! Phenominal! (If you click on the box it takes you to my FB page where the pic is public - works for me)!!
PSC - brilliant pic
