Morning valis: Looks like you've got better weather than us. Enjoy British museum, that does sound interesting. Mind you I like history. There is affair bit of Roma History near where we stay.

The route of The Antonine Wall is 3M to the north and there are at least 5 Roman Forts sites within approx 15M. Although 3 of these aren't given any acknowledgement by the respective  local councils

hey Tommy is back!  Woohoo..

Morning team.  I'm home alone! OH and Junior are on route to Dublin looking at the uni there!  So have been up since SOC cleaning the house and doing some chores!  It would have been less taxing to go on a long run!

Mini-heatweave in the SE today!

morning all,

no run this morning due to injury sustained at the ski lake last night. was pulling out of the water for my last run through the slalom course and felt something pop/snap in my abs/lower rib area! don't know what it was but it hurts when i breath deep or bend over so could be a torn ab muscle or cracked rib! either way i should probably rest it for a day or two.

valis - we visited pompeii a few years ago and were totally blown away. it's such an amazing historical site as if time suddenly stopped and captured a snap shot of every day life in 79 ad. fascinating!

Morning all - spin class and spin this morning, beautiful weather here. valis, enjoy the cultural day, and I don't mean googling waterskiing scarecrows. Chris, sounds painful, try not to laugh or sneeze and make it worse. PSC, agreed, a run would have been better. Birky, looks like north and south are swapping weather at the moment. Tommy, you're almost building a streak! Have a good day all.

Morning all. Foggy when I set out but still really hot and I struggled through 2 steep miles. Ah well it is good to get a bit of time away from the family even if my running is rubbish.

Birky the commenweealth games thing sounds fun

Tommy good to have you back

Chris most likely to be a muscle I would have thought but take care

Its good to be back, I hadn't realise how much I missed it untill this week

Mrs TG2 has finally finished all her treatment yesterday, so just got to wait untill september for the all clear and life can go back to some semblence of normality

Some more good new is that back in June we found out that my son had won a full academic schoarship to Sevenoaks School (top independent scholl) We are so proud of his achievement....

I need to do a proper read back to find out what everyone is up to.
