hey Tommy is back! Woohoo..
Morning team. I'm home alone! OH and Junior are on route to Dublin looking at the uni there! So have been up since SOC cleaning the house and doing some chores! It would have been less taxing to go on a long run!
Mini-heatweave in the SE today!
no run this morning due to injury sustained at the ski lake last night. was pulling out of the water for my last run through the slalom course and felt something pop/snap in my abs/lower rib area! don't know what it was but it hurts when i breath deep or bend over so could be a torn ab muscle or cracked rib! either way i should probably rest it for a day or two.
valis - we visited pompeii a few years ago and were totally blown away. it's such an amazing historical site as if time suddenly stopped and captured a snap shot of every day life in 79 ad. fascinating!
Morning all - spin class and spin this morning, beautiful weather here. valis, enjoy the cultural day, and I don't mean googling waterskiing scarecrows. Chris, sounds painful, try not to laugh or sneeze and make it worse. PSC, agreed, a run would have been better. Birky, looks like north and south are swapping weather at the moment. Tommy, you're almost building a streak! Have a good day all.
Morning all. Foggy when I set out but still really hot and I struggled through 2 steep miles. Ah well it is good to get a bit of time away from the family even if my running is rubbish.
Birky the commenweealth games thing sounds fun
Tommy good to have you back
Chris most likely to be a muscle I would have thought but take care
NW 1 eagle and 5 cats all curled up on a haystack
Its good to be back, I hadn't realise how much I missed it untill this week
Mrs TG2 has finally finished all her treatment yesterday, so just got to wait untill september for the all clear and life can go back to some semblence of normality
Some more good new is that back in June we found out that my son had won a full academic schoarship to Sevenoaks School (top independent scholl) We are so proud of his achievement....
I need to do a proper read back to find out what everyone is up to.
Welcome back and great news on both counts Tommy.
Pleased all is good with you TG, enjoy the hols MC.
Hey Kate are you still on course for Challege Barcelona ?
Still wet, mind you it's warm...
Tommy: Great news mate.

So far so good, did a half IM at the Vachery and really chuffed with my 5.51 time on a hilly bike course.
Tommy great news for your son and hope Mrs tg gets the all clear
Tommy - what a huge relief. Great news...
Ice cream training going well here
Morning - just a short run to collect my car from the station, bike later if it isn't raining. MC, you must be tapering!

psc: 'Cor blimey !' enjoy the big smoke
Warm and dull here today.

NW: 1 squirrel, 2 cats, 1dog, 3 snails, 8 beer kegs 1 Kingsmill Van
Went to the docs yesterday and it seems I've torn a muscle in my abs went swimming at datchet last night and managed to struggle round without too much trouble and out for a short run this morning which hurt to start with but eased off if i didn't breath too deeply!!
No waterskiing for a while though!
ouch.... take it easy Chris.
A good day in London was had... and still up watching the negotiator! There won't be much SOC activity tomorrow I'm guessing!
The Negotiator - cracking film!
Tired now. Lovely clear skies and a challenging breeze out there.
What is everyone up to this weekend? I'm off to the plumbing centre to try and find a faucet to mend a leaking tap - unfortunately I don't know the make of the tap so hope that the PC can match it by eye! Any plumbers on the thread?
