Yes, you had to suck up to them to get in. I put 'It would be the greatest moment of my life. It would allow me to put behind me the years living on the streets of Central London as crack addict while working as a male prostitute and part time getaway driver. And it'd make my mum proud of me, at last.' I think it was something like that. But my memory's not so good these days.

My son just asked.....won't the stadium be just like gateshead stadium and after the day you can just pay £2 ands runa round the trackon a session

I got in, but my OH doesn't know yet. Thought it was a scam when it arrived, as I wasn't expecting to hear until November. Anyway, I am looking forward to it, bottleneck or not..

I did write a load of rubbish about it having a special big 0 birthday in March 2012...but I assumed that it was a genuine "out of the hat" ballot?

I am in and will really enjoy taking a look at the Olympic Park - I won't be there during the Olympics. But as many people it wouldn't be disappointing (edit - If I hadn't got in). Just have to decide whether to run Reading Half on the 1t April now.

Sorry to hear about all of you who didn't get in.

I expect the question is just so they can pick something out for the media. Philpub clever use of the '.' Not that it helped you any.

I just want to be able to get at my money now I've been unsuccessful. I use a pre-paid card for all things online and the way it works with things like this, and preordering things, is they 'reserve' the amount on the card - it's called a 'balance adjustment' or something. And it can take up to 30 bloody days for it to be returned for use! I've also been overspending a bit this year so simply loading more money on isn't an option - the card has a limit for each year. Sounds a pain, but the disadvantages are outweighed by the advantages - complete peace of mind when making online transactions for one.
