Why don't they only give the top half of the field a medal in HM's and marathon

but the fcat is you don't know who worked hard and aspired or not................the guy in 4th could have coasted around the course outting in little effort..doing it as a training run..............the person in 16756th place could have trained like mad and knocked 30 mins off their Pb.given their last breathe to sprint for the line...........

i think the slower one deserves the medal and recognistion more......

so whilst those who get the podium places are welcome to their prizes..........the rest are just their running for whatever reason they wanted to

they give out prizes to the race winners..........so it doesn't matter how fast or slow you were........if you weren't good enough to the prizes you only deserve the same crap finishers medal........

Its kind of funny to think the 4th guy in a race gets the same crap as the 16,765th person in the race.

Your PB will still stand, don't worry they don't go out of date At least I hope not! I last ran a HM in 2011 but it's still my PB.

This could make an interesting HM for me then ........

I might deliberately finish in 1:49.13 then

If I don't finish under 1:49.14, I will post a picture of me throwing away my medal

but to comnpare you would have to wava grade them

so you would have to be well under 1:40
