Not quite me in trouble but.... after a hard half marathon somewhere last year, a running colleague grabbed me and gave me a kiss as we had sprint finished together - only then did i realise that he had a snotty nose and ucky stuff round his face... i nearly threw up!!

STOP! stop!
I won't be able to stiffle the giggles for much longer... AAhhha ha ha ha ha!!!!!

I know these stories probably aren't all that funny, but I think that something strange has obviously happened to my sense of humour from being cooped up in this office for too long. Roll on the weekend!

Blimey LizzyB - you were lucky. From my recollection other young women offered lifts by a 'nice' couple called Fred and Rosemary ended up underneath their patio ...

Urgh! Why have I taken up this sport? Disgusting things are inevitably going to happen to me! I have only done 5 races as an adult and they've all been good. I did, however, have a bad race experience when I was 8 years old. I was coming to the end of the school sports day obstacle race and was first by quite a margin, when (don't ask me why), I stopped to pull my knee length socks up. I got overtaken and came in 3rd. That was bad enough but I also had to deal with everyone's mums and dads laughing at me. Now I wear ankle socks when racing.
