Hi there, Any advice on good Yoga DVD to help with stretching and flexibility while marathon training?  Have seen some on Amazon but they're all American format, and one of them was £67!  Tried a class at local sports centre but didnt get much of a stretch, although did lie down for an hour...

Thanks Shimmy - £5.06 definitely more affordable.  Will give it a go.

Bit better than £67

Any Yoga DVD will be beneficial.  Kisen's yoga DVD is very good.

You need to remember that Yoga isn't all about stretching, it combines stretching, strength  balance and  breathing.

Most Yoga will be beneficial but I would give Kundalini a miss as it is mainly about the breathing.

Search Sage Rountree on Google. She's done a couple of books/DVD's aimed at "endurance" athletes and she also does some podcats you can download.

I have a few by Barbara Currie which are good.

CJ - Found the Sage Rountree podcasts on iTunes, and a some Runners World stretch podcasts, all free, and all bang on for stretching the Illiotial Band and hips, which is where my problem is, so thanks for the great advice.  been for my run and all stretched out so feeling smug.
