Adrenalin spray

has anyone tried this stuff

Mrs LL is doing a Biology course and came home tonight with a tip from her prof that spraying this on the muscles in the latter part of a mara, eleviates the probs of cramp/muscle twitch etc

just wondered if anyone else has come across this????
