At the end of a 60 mile week I did some hill reps and noticed a dull ache in my leg in the middle of the calf area.
It doesn't hurt when I walk on it so I have continued to train as usual. The pain generally wears off about 10 mins into a run. However I ran a HM time trial on Friday and my calf has been quite painful since then. At the start of my run yesterday I was hobbling a bit with the pain but again it wore off after a bit although I was aware of it for the rest of the day. I am taking ibuprofen and icing it and aim to take a rest day tomorrow.
Anyone any idea what it is and whether I need to see physio/ have a massage?
