Driving me crazy!
After a brisk 10 mile run a few months back I began to feel a burning sensation directly above my right knee. I could also describe the sensation as a sting.
At one point it started to move further up my thigh but has now settled back to just above the knee.
It seems to be worse after a hot bath but then can also flare up if I apply an ice pack. I've done plenty of quad stretching too.
It must be a trapped or pulled nerve and it doesn't bother me when running. But the rest of the time, especially sat at work, it drives me crazy.
Has anyone else suffered from this? and if so how did you clear it?.
