I know there have been numerous other posts on this, but I guess I’m really just posting to vent my frustration. About four weeks ago I hurt my knee, I don’t think it was running, I think it was doing a lot of work that required kneeling in the garden and I then I went and made it worse by quite a bit of running soon after, not a good idea I now realise.
The diagnosis was bursitis (sounds better than housemaids knee!). For the last four weeks I have been doing all the prescribed exercises and stretching and am now I would say 80% pain free so this morning I thought it was finally better enough to go for a test run . . . half a mile was all I managed before stopping for fear of making it worse again, returned home feeling vey fed up and frustrated. Has anybody any idea how long this condition takes to heal?
