Is there any way he can afford to go private for physio? I have done in the past (quicker!) and it's only about £25-30 per session.

Yoga isn't a bad thing for anyone to do, it helps to strengthen core muscles and even you out by doing equal stretches on both sides. Look on the British Wheel of Yoga website for a teacher near you - make sure you get a properly trained one who can make sure you are positioned properly in the stretches, otherwise you won't really get the full benefit.

Just had my Dad on the phone.

PH you've not offended him. He did say that you've got more rabbit than Sainsbury's, however, we all have that on here.

He's impressed with all your marathons.

He is going to keep up with the physio, his only moan is that he's had 8 months of being pulled and pushed about and doesn't seem to be getting anywhere.

I did put something on one of the other threads and had a really great post back from that which I read out to him and also reminded him how long it took for one of my injuries to get better.

I think he's going to look more into yoga.

If anyone else has got any comments or suggestions anything is going to be of help. Or if anyone has had a similar injury how long did it take to get sorted out?

Found out from my Mum that the NHS haven't discharged him but as he has had more than his quota of 8 sessions they can't afford to give him anymore!

My Dad's just phoned after visiting the work's physio and the news isn't good!

The physio has said he has damaged his femoral and sciatic nerves, he's told him to get his GP to refer him to a specialist. He's also been told that the nerves grow at 1 millimetre per month!
