Went to the Masters swimming last nite and was fairly put thru my paces, they had lanes ranging from 2:30s thu to sub 1:30s, I got in the 2:00 lane.

We did: -

5 x 200m as (100fs, 50m drill, 50 other stroke)
4 x 200m build
8 x 50 kick
12 x 100 build/drop (as 4 x (100 on 2:05, 100 on 2:00, 100 on 1:55)
200m ease
8 x 50 pull
9 x 100 build/drop (as 4 x (100 on 2:05, 100 on 2:00, 100 on 1:55)
300m Warm down

So did 5.2k swim

Think i'll go again next week

Overcast here this morning. We had thunder and lightning during the night.

Might go for a very gentle 3 mile plod later in the nice cool damp air.

think we got your weather this morning Heebs - very stormy on the way in!

Waterproofs did a good job tho, even if it is a bit of a palaver getting bike overshoes on over trainers :os

i walked the 10 mins to the library to find it was closed
so walked back making me late for work (plan being I could then go for a run at lunch!)
So I now either have to skip the lunch run and run at home or run at lunch and leave work early to get to the library!
hey ho

Morning BTW!

Hello peeps :o)

So what are you going to do, Pix?

I have a much fuller work diary for September than I did an hour ago, and am correspondingly more contented.

right Will. Is "masters" just erm, slightly more mature swimmers (rather than the teenagers swim clubs) or is it peeps who are a bit good?
