just had a look at your blog

did you really not know how penicillin was discovered?
i thought that was general knowledge
it is not the whole story though - there were other people working with him and it was not quite as random as it is portrayed
also, there was another group working in the US who also made the discovery
so it's by no means clear that it was discovered by Flemming in a room in st Mary's medical school

Guilty as charged. I lurk on a few of the threads out of interest, general noseyness but mainly just to pass the time at work! Starting a new job in a few weeks time though, so I'm sure my lurking habits will have to change significantly!
