Are health insurance cos. quite good about excepting claims as i dont want to pay for the doc to complete the form etc only to find out that im gonna have to pay for treatment anyway. (im not claiming for a sports injury)

Phone up your insurance company and discuss your particular needs with them, DBSA. They should be able to advise you accordingly.
