Mine's an arthroscopy too - shouldn't be too bad but I'd better take it easy for a few days

Yes, definitely. Make sure you have a thermos etc so you don't have to keep getting up for the kettle, batteries in the remote and a stool or little table already to sofa toput things on

Ooooh good tip re the thermos, thanks

I laughed at the space bars recovery

Thanks guys that's what I'll do. I'll have a look at schedules tomorrow. (I still need to get to the gym today cos I've been busy being social today

Good Luck tomorrow bear, it'll be nice to have you fighting fit again

Thanks SOLB - it's a bit of a way back to full fitness but I'll get there

I'm melting; it's really hot in the front room of magnolia mansions cos it gets full sun and has useless night storage heating - hot when you're asleep and in the day when it's warmer anyway and stone cold in the evening.
I'd open the windows but SOLBsis is coming and she is really feeling the cold at the moment ... can I have an icecream?

Knee op dome, seem fine walking on the knee so all good

Yay! Three cheers for bear.
Just remember they will have injected the knee with a local anaesthetic so it might hurt later
02/11/2012 at 20:22
Woo hoo bear, so glad it went well x

How was your day Solb? I did gym stuff and all kinds of things and even had words with the horrible thoughts who were telling me that people were watching and my friend had only taken me because she felt sorry for me.
02/11/2012 at 20:59
Oh by eck that's wonderful, I am so pleased. I am delighted you managed to put the horrible thoughts back in their place. You are getting stronger every day

I'm feeling really positive today, lots of smiles

Well done by 'eck

Today I am mostly hobbling

*gives bear a piggy back*

I've had a wonderful day with the mini's; gorgeous, gorgeous little creatures ... I have been practicing 'walking' like a worm

We went to the forest, played in the park and saw the fireworks. I really feel like my old self with them again, tis just lovely

Aw that's great SOLB

How do you walk like a worm, does it involve wriggling on your belly?

04/11/2012 at 16:14
No silly bear it involves lots of knee, hip and shoulder wiggling then a quick hop when no one is looking obviously
04/11/2012 at 16:17
'oh', ok. That does make sense. A teacher at little miss' infant school used to get the tinies to crab walk when they first started as they then had to move hands and feet and it was much harder to touch things and run when moving around the school.
04/11/2012 at 16:19

Ah is that how worms do it?

04/11/2012 at 16:27
Oo sneaky, clever teacher. We did a little crab walking too. My favourite was trying to catch our shadows I think

Yes bear, didn't you know?

No
