I wanted a place where we could get advice and support.

would kinda like the nightmares to feck off now, has been 3 weeks now .... but if that's not an option then the more cuddles the better

I'm sorry, I don't think my Bear is a very good guard dog - he'll end up asleep with you. But he'll keep you warm

And he's working on the cuddle thing

I have a cat curled up asleep on,my lap. He is purring so loudly I had to turn up strictly.
Solb, nightmares can be really tiring. But it really is the sign that your brain is processing stuff rather than just hiding it away.

That's what Vicky said by eck, she thinks its a good thing ... I just want them to stop now, though I'm sure I'll be glad once its over

Do you try to stop the nightmares or allow them to run their course?

It's hard when the time you are meant to be resting and recharging is exhausting, though ((hug)) x

It is! It is harder when you are meant to be resting and life doesn't let you.

I can't wake from these ones, they run til about 4 then I wake up and try to stay awake.
Hopefully you can have a rest after Miss By Eck's birthday is done

I used to be plagued dreadfully. I mean to the point j refused to go to sleep. Then someone suggested trying to trigger and control the direction they take rather than stopping them and then not daring to sleep
17/11/2012 at 20:15
I don't know how to do that. These are all very literal retrospective ones, not sure I could re-write history I don't feel like I have a voice in the nightmare it's very much out of my control. Might be worth having a go though, I'll Google it by eck

Morning people. It is a moment of calm in the middle of a chaotic day. But I do have ime to hide all the cake wrappers and replace the cakes that appear to have gone missing.

Happy Birthday Miss By Eck
Hope it all goes well today and that there are a few pockets of calm to be found

I feel magically better after a massive cup of coffee and a shower
I have SCaz visiting today, might see if she fancies a walk cos the sun is shining, then I'm having a spotty dog hug tonight.

Tomorrow is the beginning of new start number 80 billion squillion and 9 I'm plannig on starting a training plan (details to be finalised and spiteful asthma dependent) to take me to the Salisbury 10 in March (seems ridiculous that I need a training plan to get up to 10 but I've not done more than 3ish so far)  and gym on alternates.

Back to three meals with the OCD stuff and it's our last horrible review session in psychotherapy on Monday before we go back to normal

I'm raring to go with my new positive start from tomorrow now that I've had some down time

How are you feeling Bear? Excellent slobbing yesterday

18/11/2012 at 14:06

I'm okay, woken up late but feeling more energetic now

for fresh starts

Just heard the tube guys didn't finish - there were people messing about on one of the tracks causing massive delays and them running out of trains

18/11/2012 at 14:43

Aw, sorry to hear they didn't make it, Bear

Hope the birthday day is going well, By Eck

Good luck with the new plan, SOLB

Because I couldn't drink on our wedding anniversary last month, we have declared today an honorary celebration. We have champagne

18/11/2012 at 15:09

Aw that's a nice idea Frodo, enjoy your bubbles

The guys in question have held the world record so it's not quite as much of a disappointment - the second crew had a newbie with them so disappointing for him
