Things I have done tonight ( in case any of these suggestions may help others)

Worn my favourite pyjamas
Cut my fingernails ( in case I start scratching myself)
Rubbed in body lotion to stop my skin feeling 'wrong'
Put a soothing scent onto my pillow to trigger the happy stuff
Opened the window and curtains slightly so I don't feel trapped

hello my lovely lot...seems like forever since I last posted...things have been all over the shop.

Things have settled down at work, everyone is being nice and getting on well...stress levels have been astronomical because of the audit but that is over now.

I had my first assessment with the mental health link working last week - she was lovely and I didn't cry. I'm reacting well to the anti depressants with the exception of alcohol...makes me a bit/very ill if I drink so safer if I don't...which is ok.

So...back to MH...I have to stay on the meds for a while. I have been referred for counselling and also for Phase/Stage 3 CBT...but that could take 8 months to come through. My thoughts are I've lived with this for 20 years, another 8 months won't matter much.

We had a very honest discussion...about lots of things. My rules, my list issue, restrictions I place on myself etc...turns out I do more rules than I realised...and facing the issue could take a long time...but I've made the first steps - now for some changes. First proper counselling session, December 14th. Meep.
