I wanted a place where we could get advice and support.

Thanks hun. I did my 3 things today

I'm afraid I didn't do any  of mine today.

I'm busy wondering about therapy tomorrow, I want to go to discuss my discharge plan but I don't want to give Vicky my bug especaially as I'm not sure if she has a weakened immune system (she's well beyond retirement age but continues to work as she feels it's her calling - I wouldn't disagree, what she has done for me is just incredible!)

Will see how things look in the morning

Give her the option. Has she said she has a weakened immune system?

No but she has mentioned avoiding catching stuff before, not sure if it's general, in relation to her or even someone she lives with ... I'll email her in the morning but not sure if she'll get it cos I'm usually the first patient she sees and I live 40 minutes away.

She sounds amazing. You've really worked hard together.

It's her though, she's right about it being a calling. It's more than just intelligence and being good at her job, though she is. She is the only person I've ever come across in mental health that retains her compassion and empathy. She has a genuine respect and understanding for her patients that I've never seen before.

I'm not explaining it very well

I know what you mean because Alice is the same. She is an RMN by day but does accouple of CBT patients privately. She knows when to push me and when I need time to deal with something.
Andrew's CBT person does something in mental health and is also excellent, tho he would drive me potty. We each have our own needs. I did see one guy who was horrendous. I just sat on the sofa and nodded cos he kept talking and his body language made me feel on edge and I didn't think he listened to me. Alice lets me sit in silence if I need to.

I met one lady in the CMHT who wouldn't let me talk about the voices, she felt it would validate the experience if she listened to me talk. It was horrific I felt really persecuted and scared and felt like there was no where to turn

Erm........ But it's part of you and how you deal with things. Would she tell someone she wouldn't listen to them when they were crying, or self harming?

Weird woman, she thought anti psychotics and ignoring it were the answer never mind that it was totally real to me already.
I've just emailed Vicky cancelling our session. I really wanted to go but I still feel horrible, don't think I could manage an hour even if it weren't for the risk of infecting everyone else with my yucky virus.
Back to sleep my eyes hurt too much being open

Oi Bear! Wake up.
I have filled in my application for life insurance ( which was a job I was dreading) and swept the floor in the living room. I am aiming for 4 jobs today because mummy and daddy by eck have taken moo on a quick drive. He seems a little better in himself.
