Celebrated a new PB at the Cabbage Patch 10 miler today with a colleague and his family at an after race Wimpy!
Well, I got "done" by a "spiteful" chip, you know the hard skinny ones with pointy ends and it caught the back of my throat going down. Anyway, after a day of finding it painful to swallow anything, I yawned in the mirror about 5 mins ago and I have a 3/4 inch scar across the back of my throat. Which is very uncomfortable!
Well, I wouldn't have got it but for running!
