NIPPLE BLEED SOLUTION

i only ever seem to use this forum to ask questions and be quite selfish, but i have actually found a solution to a long term problem.

nipple bleed!! i suffer awful with this and as a large built fella, anything over 5 miles id get a chafe and then the pain and then the bleed everytime...for years id try every remedy and now i have perfected it.

firstly liberally use anti chafe balm and cover all the nipples...this seems to dry them.
next cover this with niplasters (bought both on ebay).

anti chafe alone does me till 13-14 miles and then the pain begins.
nipplasters around 10 miles until the sweat makes them fall off.

both together though is a revelation...i ran 20 miles (go me!! longest ever today with no issue at all) and thats followed 12, 14 and 15 in recent weeks.

over the moon with it so thought i would pass this info on......

Where else can you buy them?

Thanks

Awesome, thanks. I have heard of NipGuard, I just never thought of getting it as it seems expensive and they look small (suffer from large areoli!)

I'll give them a go, have bought them now so will see how the chafing goes!

Thanks!

Not sure if it's helpful, but I use physio tape. I bought some when the physio showed me how to strap my foot. But I have load left, there is no way that sweat would make this stuff peel off, in fact getting it off again is the worst bit. I have to take it off in the shower and have even left it on for a few days when I wasn't brave enough. When taping joints the physio uses some other tape underneath to "protect the skin" which shows how sticky it is.

*disclaimer - I'm just saying what I use, please don't blame me if you rip you nipples off trying to get this stuff off. I bought mine from physiosupplies.com or some similarly named website.
