I've been told I've got really tight calfs and I can't tell whether they are still tight or not after lots of stretching. When not flexed, there's a 1cm or so of soft tissue then I press it at the back near the gastrocnemius and behind that it feels like 3-4 big elastic bands which move when I press them. When standing on them they're literally rock hard all the way down. Is this normal?
