Can anyone help???
Been running for 5 yrs+ and never had this pain - asked at running club last night and didn' t ring any bells with anyone else either
The problem is a very localised pain at the top of my leg. More or less at the side and very high up (but NOT as far as the hip itself - just below in fact). Think its too far up to be ITB, too far back to be quad, too far forward to be hamstring?? Used to get a bit a sciatica before as well but this isn't the same - and it doesn't stop me running although i'm finding it very difficult to warm up due to the 'stiffness' it creates
Any ideas anyone??
