OCD and ACI - Health + Injury

I have been diagnosed with OCD and recommed to have an ACI a relatively new operation in this country. If anyone has experience of either, please let me know. I know more than my physios, but at only 43 not sure a ACI is the route I want to take.

That'll be osteochondritis dessicans and autologous chondrocyte/collagen implant?

Why/where do they recommend you have it done, and are you paying for it?

I’ve heared / seen some impressive case reports in young footballers – from some good guys in Owestry - and I would give it some serious consideration if the surgeon can answer your questions. Most people aren’t offered this option.
