Plantar Fasciitis advice - newbie

Hi all I've only recently got back into running, and have been running 3 times a week for the past few weeks. My training has been going well, and I'm up to 6-7 mile runs. Unfortunately though, I have all the symptoms of PF I have a very active job (care assistant) and am on my feet constantly, which doesn't help. My question is, should I stop running and rest my foot for a week or so? Or can I continue running, as long as my foot lets me?! It's frustrating because I've signed up for a 10k race in a months time.... Thanks in advance

You should rest for a little bit but obviously you want to keep going. Look into king brand products, they have worked for me and several co workers in the past. their bfst treatment will allow you to stauy active, and will help the pain while working.

Thanks guys.

I've been using an ice pack to reduce any inflammation. Also been rolling a golf ball under my foot, which is supposedly good for deep muscle massage. Sounds odd, but it's definitely making a difference!
